Tattoo Aftercare
Aftercare Insturctions
Make sure to wash your hands.
Wash your tattoo with warm water and a mild unscented antibacterial soap such as Dial or Dove. Make sure that you wash all the plasma (clear fluid) from your tattoo. This usually stops 6-10 hours after receiving your tattoo.
After washing your tattoo, pat dry with a clean paper towel or a clean soft cloth. With your fingertips, apply a small amount of lotion such as Hustle Butter or Aveeno to your tattoo.
Always keep the tattooed area clean and free of any bacteria. Always wash your tattoo before applying lotion. Repeat 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks. Keep the tattoo fresh and open to air.
Tattoo Don'ts

-
For 2 weeks avoiding swimming, hot tubs, or prolonged submersion.
-
For the first month avoid prolonged direct sunlight and tanning.
-
Do not use bandages or wear tight clothing over your tattoo.
-
DO NOT scrub, scratch, pick, or peel your tattoo.
-
DO NOT let anyone, including pets, touch your tattoo.

Saniderm

Saniderm is a thin, clear, medical-grade adhesive bandage that you may have on your tattoo. Saniderm works as a waterproof, breathable option to the classic saran wrap.
You can leave the Saniderm on for 3-5 days. If you find that the bandage is leaking or too full of plasma (fluid), gently peel it off in the shower. Wash gently with an unscented antibacterial soap.

Gently pat dry with a clean paper towel. Then with your fingertips, apply a small amount of lotion or Hustle Butter.

Keep your tattoo clean and free of bacteria or debris. Repeat 3-5 times a day for the following week to week and a half from the Saniderm removal.
